From Faith to Faith - Daily Devotional

Victory comes one day at a time. Get a word of encouragement…a word of inspiration…a word of faith every day of the year. Imitate the Faithful (Kenneth Copeland )  "Remember your leaders and superiors in authority, [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living...and imitate their faith." (Hebrews 13:7) The Amplified Bible) Apart from the Word of God itself and prayer, nothing can do more for you than watching and imitating a real man of faith. I found that out in a big way many years ago when I was a student at Oral Roberts University. As co-pilot on the airplane that transported him and his staff to his healing meetings, I had the opportunity to study Oral Roberts up close. I followed him around. I heard him preach. I watched him lay hands on the sick. I'll never forget the day I had the opportunity to put some of what I'd learned from him into action. I'd just been to a few of his meetings. Spirit...

Faith Food - Daily Devotional (By Rhema Team November 27, 2021)

Be Filled Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. — COLOSSIANS 3:16,17 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. — 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 Notice how yesterday’s scripture and today’s scripture are very similar. A song in the heart and the giving of thanks simply go hand-in-hand. And if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will experience this praise and this thanksgiving. If you don’t, then you’re simply not filled with the Spirit. Be filled! (See John 7:37-39, 14:16,17; Acts 1:4,5, 2:4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, 19:1-3,6.) Then you’ll have a spirit of praise and a spirit of thanksgiving. Confession: I let the word of Christ dwell in me richly. I benefit from teaching and...

Turning Point Daily Devotional With Dr. David Jeremiah

Thank-Filled: For Promises NOVEMBER 27, 2021 I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4, NIV Recommended Reading: Isaiah 41:1-4 “When I was going through COVID,” said Joni Eareckson Tada, “the hardest part was having to stay in bed…. I wanted to be sitting up in my wheelchair so that I could breathe more easily. It was risky for me to be in bed because of my frail lungs. But the fact was, Ken was sicker than I was, and finding caregivers was nearly impossible…. So for a few days, I stayed in bed. And there, I depended on a different ‘helper,’ as it were. At night in bed and in the dark, God reminded me of his words in Isaiah chapter 46…. ‘I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.’ Wow. I clung to that promise.”[1] No matter what you may face, there’s always a promise in the Bible on which to cling. The Bible contains thousands of promises, each one for a sp...

Please consider financially supporting our ministry! — Donate Now So you received the message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the severe suffering it brought you. In this way, you imitated both us and the Lord. — 1 Thessalonians 1:6 NLT Key Thought How can a convicting message, a message that calls us to turn our lives around (1 Thessalonians 1:8-10), bring joy in the middle of suffering? 1. That message is true. 2. That message points us to a better way, a way that leads to glory that is far greater than any suffering now could possibly be (Romans 8:17-18). 3. That message comes accompanied by the ultimate Message-giver, the Holy Spirit. Joy is inspired, produced, and sustained by the Holy Spirit. Today's Prayer O Father, inspire joy in me and those I love. I do not ask for this joy selfishly, but so that others can sense this deep and abiding joy within me and be ope...

"The Holy Spirit Produces Joy and Peace" — God's Holy Fire for 11/26/2021 Do you enjoy our daily devotionals? Please consider financially supporting our ministry! — Donate Now But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. — Galatians 5:22-23a NLT Key Thought Even in life's darkest hours, the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, can bring the light of God's joy and peace to the darkest corners of disappointment. Because the Holy Spirit is alive within us, joy and peace will bubble to the surface regardless of our circumstances. The Spirit's very presence is our reminder of these truths: that Jesus was raised from the dead, that he poured out the Spirit on us when we became his followers (Titus 3:3-7), and that God has assured us of sharing his glorious future with us (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). Where the Holy Spirit finds a home, there we will find joy and peace. ...

Heartlight Daily Devotional Today's Verse for 11/26/2021

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. — Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) Share on Facebook | Discuss this Verse Do you enjoy our daily devotionals? It is the song that is sung throughout the Scriptures. This is the assurance that we have from God himself. Our lives will not be lived in vain. Those who berate, belittle, and batter God's people will be exposed and his beloved children, his saints of light, will receive vindication and salvation from the Father they love. Prayer Dear God, I pray especially today for your servants who are sharing the Gospel in difficult places. Some of these precious ones are imprisoned. Some ar...

Reasons to Praise NOVEMBER 26, 2021 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant. Psalm 135:3 Recommended Reading: Psalm 100:5 The United States Presidential Medal of Freedom was established by President John F. Kennedy in 1963. It is awarded by Presidents of the United States to persons who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” The award is accompanied by the President’s recitation of the recipient’s accomplishments and good works. Awards are never given for no reason. They are always given in recognition of something that has been done or contributed by the recipient. And the same is true when we give thanks or praise to God. In the Old Testament, God’s actions and attributes are mentioned as reasons for praising Him: “Praise the Lord! For He has delivered the life of the poor from the hand of evil...

Heartlight - Daily Devotional (Friday November 26. 2021)

Every Babylon Must Fall Note from Jesus Dear Precious Follower, Over the centuries, one powerful nation after another — often symbolized by a powerful city — has arisen. Many of these nations, represented by their dominant cities, have oppressed My people. Each of these cities accumulated power and wealth. They attracted the world's attention. Those in commerce bowed to the city's financial power and markets. Those who dealt in trade depended upon the city's ability to provide networking and trade partners. Those who moved the commerce delighted in the city's power to connect them to clients and bring them wealth. They often grew rich on the stability, transportation hub, and network of clients provided by the city. Many of these people prostituted themselves to these cities and nations. They were involved with an evil city for their benefit. They loved that the city provided the infrastructure, networks, and currency for them to get rich. But, so many of these cities o...

What's Your Name? (Kenneth Copeland) "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." (Colossians 3:17) Did you know your name has been changed? It's no longer the same as it was before you were born again. You gave your old name away when you made covenant with Jesus. To fully appreciate what that means, you have to think about it in the light of what we know about blood covenant. When someone enters a covenant of blood, he is giving himself completely away. He is no longer his own. His assets and his debts, his strengths and his weaknesses belong forever to his covenant brother. When you're in blood covenant with someone, that person's name becomes your name forever. You cannot escape it—good or bad—it's yours. When you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He took your name! Your name was sin. Your name was weakness. Your name was fear and poverty and every other evil thing ...

You can if you follow Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 5:18-20, “. . . be filled with the Spirit . . . .” And just after giving this admonition to these Pentecostal people, Paul gives some ways to keep filled with the Spirit: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” An overflowing heart will be your testimony! Your cup will be full and running over! You will have a song in your heart! “Giving thanks always for all things . . . .” Your heart is thankful. You give thanks for all of God’s blessings.
